Kunkle Brass Safety Relief Valve Models 541, 542, 548 Certified Valves

High capacity air and gas certified safety valves, these models are built to support air compressors, intercoolers, aftercoolers, air tanks, air receivers, air lines and systems as well as pressurized equipment.

Model Description:

ASME Section VIII, Air/Gas, “UV” National Board Certified Safety Valves

  • Model 541: ¼” or ½” male NPT inlet. Brass body and seat with BUNA-N ball or flat seal. Exceptional seat tightness performance.
  • Model 542: Same as Model 541 except Viton® ball or flat seal.
  • Model 548: Same as Model 541 except stainless steel (SS) ball seal.

Features:

  • High capacity with small size.
  • Factory sealed to prevent tampering or disassembly.
  • Each Kunkle valve is tested and inspected for pressure setting and leakage.

Applications:

  • Small-to-medium-size, single- and multi-stage air compressors, intercoolers, aftercoolers, instrument/control air lines and systems.
  • Air tanks/receivers and pressurized equipment.

  • Model 542

  • Model 548
    • 3 to 400 PSIG [0.2 to 27.6 barg]
    • -60° to 400°F [-34° to 204°C]
