TRAC Regulator manufactures a complete line of pressure reducing valves for military and commercial applications. The valves are designed for durability and dependability and require no external source of power to operate. The TRAC Pressure Reducing Valve product line consists of:
The TRAC Style ‘H’ pressure reducing valve is a self-contained, spring-loaded, direct-operated device for regulating and reducing high-pressure water to any desired operating pressure within the valve’s field adjustable range. The design, construction and materials utilized for the TRAC Style ‘H’ pressure reducing valve are ideally suited for shipboard seawater systems service.
TRAC Style ‘H’ product specifications:
Materials: Bronze Body – Extra Heavy Construction, Monel Trim
Sizes: .25" – 6"
End Connections:
Service:
Pressure Ratings: 150 PSIG – 700 PSIG
Please refer to the TRAC Style 'H' Catalog or Contact for additional information.
TRAC Style 'H' product features:
The Style ‘H’ pressure reducing valve is available in two variations: Type I and Type II. Type I valves feature a pressure-tight body, spring chamber and bottom cap that forms a pressure-tight envelope capable of withstanding the full-proof pressure rating. In Type II valves, the spring chamber does not form part of the pressure-containing envelope. If no valve type is specified on an order, or if the purchaser has no preference, Type II will be provided.
The TRAC Style ‘H’ pressure reducing valve is a direct replacement (regarding fit and function) for the following manufacturers’ designations (MIL-V-2042D and later specifications): Atlas Valve Company Figure 1910, Charles M Bailey (CMB Industries) Model 30, ITT Lawler Type 2707, Leslie Controls Inc. Class WWBN, Warren Controls Corp. Type 436.

The TRAC Style ‘HA’ pressure reducing valve is a self-contained, spring-loaded, direct-operated device for regulating and reducing high-pressure air or nitrogen to any desired operating pressure within the valve’s field adjustable range. The design, construction and materials utilized for the TRAC Style ‘HA’ pressure reducing valve are ideally suited for shipboard air or nitrogen systems service.
TRAC Style ‘HA’ product specifications:
Materials: Bronze Body – Extra Heavy Construction, Stainless Steel Trim
Sizes: .25" – 2"
End Connections:
Service:
Pressure Rating: 150 PSIG
Please refer to the TRAC Style 'HA' Catalog or Contact for additional information.
TRAC Style 'HA' product features:
The TRAC Style ‘HA’ pressure reducing valve is intended for installation in air or nitrogen systems where the inlet pressure to the valve is 150 PSIG (or below) and it is required to maintain a constant (within the accuracy limits specified) lower pressure downstream of the valve. For air or nitrogen service applications having an inlet pressure rating higher than 150 PSIG, consider the TRAC Style ‘HG’ gas pressure reducing valve.
For air or nitrogen service applications requiring a pilot-operated pressure reducing valve, consider the TRAC Style ‘RA’ pressure reducing valve.

The TRAC Style ‘HG’ pressure reducing valve is a self-contained, spring-loaded, direct-operated device for regulating and reducing high-pressure air or nitrogen to any desired operating pressure within the valve’s field adjustable range. The design, construction, and materials utilized for the TRAC Style ‘HG’ pressure reducing valve are ideally suited for shipboard air or nitrogen systems where the required rate of pressure is over 150 PSIG and/or the required end connections are other than MIL-F-1183.
TRAC Style ‘HG’ product specifications:
Materials: Bronze Body – Extra Heavy Construction, Stainless Steel Trim
Sizes: .25" – 2"
End Connections:
Service:
Pressure Ratings: 400 PSIG and 600 PSIG
Please refer to the TRAC Style 'HG' Catalog or Contact for additional information.
TRAC Style 'HG' product features:
The TRAC Style ‘HG’ pressure reducing valve is intended for installation in air or nitrogen systems where the inlet pressure to the valve is 150 PSIG or above. For air or nitrogen service applications having an inlet pressure rating lower than 150 PSIG, consider the TRAC Style ‘HA’ air and gas pressure reducing valve. For air or nitrogen service applications requiring a pilot-operated pressure reducing valve, consider the TRAC Style ‘RA’ pressure reducing valve.

The TRAC Style ‘R’ steam pressure reducing valve is an internal pilot and internally ported valve utilized for regulating and reducing high-pressure steam to any desired operating pressure within the valve’s field adjustable range. The Style ‘R’ valve requires no external source of power to operate the valve or to detect changes in outlet steam pressure.
TRAC Style ‘R’ product specifications:
Materials: Bronze or Steel Body, Stainless Steel Internals
Sizes: 0.5" – 2"
End Connections:
Service:
Pressure Rating: 150 PSIG
Please refer to the TRAC Style 'R' Catalog or Contact for additional information.
TRAC Style 'R' product features:
The Style ‘R’ valve is intended for installation in low-pressure steam systems such as preheaters, laundry equipment and galley equipment. The inlet pressure rating of the Style ‘R’ valve is 150 PSIG, and the outlet set pressure is adjustable from 15 to 135 PSIG. The valve requires at least a 15 PSI pressure difference between steam supply pressure and maximum regulated pressure. It can be adjusted to limit maximum output pressure to any value from 15 PSI below supply pressure down to 5 PSI gauge pressure.

The TRAC Style ‘RA’ pressure reducing valve is an internal pilot and internally ported valve utilized for regulating and reducing high-pressure air or nitrogen to any desired operating pressure within its adjustable range. The Style ‘RA’ valve requires no external source of power to operate the valve or to detect changes in outlet pressure.
TRAC Style ‘RA’ product specifications:
Materials: Bronze or Steel Body, Stainless Steel Internals
Sizes: 0.5" – 2"
End Connections:
Service:
Pressure Rating: 150 PSIG
Please refer to the TRAC Style 'RA' Catalog or Contact for additional information.
TRAC Style 'RA' product features:
The Style ‘RA’ valve is suitable for shipboard systems intended to regulate air with tighter droop characteristics than self-contained, spring-loaded, direct-operated pressure reducing valves. The inlet pressure rating of the Style ‘RA’ valve is 150 PSIG, and the outlet set pressure is adjustable from 15 to 135 PSIG. The valve requires at least a 15 PSI gauge pressure difference between air supply pressure and maximum regulated pressure. It can be adjusted to limit maximum output pressure to any value from 15 PSI below supply pressure down to 5 PSI gauge pressure.
The Style ‘RA’ valve is similar in design and construction to the Style ‘R’ valve with the internal trim modified specifically for air service. Tight shutoff is assured with the incorporation of the soft-seat arrangement.
